Overview

NICE WebStation - Work Journal allows you to view or modify your work items for queues available to you, based on your setup and the setup of the queues (see Queue ID and Queue Name). You can also enter notes about work items in a queue or print the work journal data displayed on the Work Journal page.

The work items include non-ACD data, such as e-mails, paperwork, and so on. The Work Journal page provides a method for you to enter non-ACD work so the system can use it in forecasting and reporting. The WFM system does not automatically capture this type of work. You can view your work item data in the WebStation - StatsViewer page.

Note

The Work Journal menu item is only available if you use the Work Journal feature and your MU allows agents to enter work items in the Work Journal.

View and Modify Work Items on the Work Journal Page

The Work Journal page allows you to view, add, update, or delete work items in queues. If there are no queues available for you to enter work journal data, the system displays a message indicating no queues have been configured for work journal entries.

The system initially sorts the data in the Work Journal spreadsheet in ascending order by queue ID. You can sort by any column in the Work Journal spreadsheet, except the NOTES column, by clicking on the column header. Click the column header again to sort in the opposite order.
